Michael is an Environmentalist fighting to slow down the devastating effects of climate change due to deforestation by planting millions of trees and educating a future generation of environmentalists.
Michael would hire the necessary personnel to expand the work of the Miti Alliance to facilitate the planting of more trees and the education of more people.
The forests of Kenya are threatened by overexploitation, illegal logging and resource degradation, which is causing erosions, dramatic flooding and devastating loss of biodiversity. As the trees disappear the effects of climate change become more apparent and we must therefore conserve the forests that we have, and restore what’s been damaged.

In response to the Covid-19 crisis, Miti Alliance started working together with several children’s homes throughout Nairobi. Along with the children, they set up vertical kitchen gardens and plant them with vegetables and fruit. The gardens support the children’s dietary needs and give them knowledge of how to grow food.
Michael and Miti Alliance have in conjunction with Miss Kenya 2009 and the office of the then Prime Minister planted 10,000 trees.
Organized a tree planting session for the Seven Seas Technologies, which resulted in 300 trees planted in the Karura Forest.
Planted 2500 trees in the school grounds of Kenyan High School in conjunction with the Kenya High students, National bank of Kenya, Nairobi Global Shapers and Rotaract Kenya.
Pursued partnership with Qfm and Nation TV for their tree planting campaign in 2009.
Organized two tree planting sessions with Rolls Royce, Coca Cola, KLM and KQ where 9000 trees were planted at Kona Baridi.
Led the social media campaign “Plant Your Age” towards the actual event that was held at the Nairobi national park with a successful culmination of the tree planting.
