In 2018, Milkywire was founded on the belief that business should not be conducted at the expense of the planet.
We rely on nature and its ecosystems. But for too long we have been taking them for granted and today, our actions have led to a climate emergency. There is an urgent need to increase funding for the fight against climate change and the protection of biodiversity.

Transparent and reliable funding
Your contributions to our Climate Transformation Fund (CTF) and nature portfolios are channeled directly to high-impact projects through the WRLD Foundation, a registered nonprofit in both the United States and Sweden. With 501(c)(3) status in the U.S., the WRLD Foundation ensures that your support is not only impactful but also transparent and reliable.
For purchases to our Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) portfolios, your company has the option to make pre-purchases or offtakes, receiving credits once the targeted carbon removal is achieved. All funds to these portfolios are handled directly through Milkywire.
